Traceability

Starting from 01 January 2005 the European Union regulation 178/2002 for the traceability of food becomes effective. Beverage manufacturers, beverage bottlers, beverage specialized wholesalers etc. must be able to determine from whom they received goods and to whom they delivered the goods.
According to the requirements of our customers all SCHÄFER KEGs can be provided with durably integrated codings such as plain text, bar code, transponder or datixPLUS and thus provide transparency in logistics and a comprehensive container management. Product and customer allocation, control of the market retention time and optimisation of the turn-over frequency are only some points of an ideal logistics solution.

COLO - Container Logistics

With SCHÄFER WERKE GmbH, KHS Till GmbH and AEG Identifikationssysteme GmbH three market and innovation leaders in the KEG-, construction and transponder technology united to form the working group COLO (Container Logistics).
The know-how of these specialists offers complete logistic solutions to the beverage industry for KEG traceability and for a comprehensive KEG-management: From the installation of the transponders in KEGs over readers in plants up to hard and software in the bottling enterprise and in the distribution chain.
COLO solutions thus ensure a complete KEG-traceability. COLO can already refer to several successful projects. The offered solutions were tested in line with standard usage by the VLB Berlin and confirmed in their efficiency. They are individually co-ordinated with the needs of the filling enterprises and fulfil the guidelines of the EEC regulation 178-2002 completely.
